The Web sites described
below contain databases (separate from the TropSCORE
soil health database) with information or resources related
to soils and organic resources. (NOTE:
A wider range of topics can be accessed through the databases
index page).
- The
Organic
Resource Database, run by the Tropical Soil Biology and Fertility
Programme in Nairobi, Kenya, and Wye College, University of London (UK),
is a database of information such as plant characteristics, soil decomposition,
and nutrient cycling models. It allows users to add new data and must
be downloaded (at no charge) from the Web site.

Australian
Soil Resources Information System (ASRIS) is national database
of soil information for soils of Australia's agricultural zone.
- This
on-line glossary
of soil science terms in English was developed by the Soil Science
Society of America. It was revised in 1997 and can be searched or browsed.
