In West Africa we mostly work with mucuna, soybean, cowpea, kudzu, and lablab. Best recent reviews are in Sustaining Soil Fertility in West Africa. SSSA Special Publication no. 58, Soil Science Society of America and American Society of Agronomy, Madison, WI, USA.

Best wishes,
