your extension information source
is an on-line searchable database that provides practical information
from numerous Extension Services and Agricultural Experiment Stations
at Land Grant universities throughout the United States.
- Info
Finder
searches the databases of Future Harvest Centers, CGIAR and FAO/WAICENT
for on-line documents and Web sites.
- The Sustainable
Agriculture Network (USA) Source
Book is a searchable database of more than 500 reports, newsletters,
videos, Web sites, and proceedings related to sustainable agriculture.
Each entry gives a short description of the product and how to obtain
it.
- AGRIS/CARIS
- A search engine for AGRIS/CARIS and other databases contains information on international agricultural research.

System's Agricultural Research
for Development database allows users to access European Web
resources in research for development in agriculture, the environment,
and many other related fields.
- The
Special Program for African
Agricultural Research directory allows users to search for contact
information for programs and people involved in agricultural research
in Africa.
- An on-line database
of factsheets on agroforestry
techniques for the Pacific region is available through Winrock
International.
- The Conservation
Agriculture Technology database lists commercially available
equipment which is specifically designed or is essential for the successful
introduction of Conservation Agriculture.
- CIIFAD (Cornell
International Institute for Food, Agriculture and Development -- USA)
is developing a prototype site that provides information on global
crop pests in English and Spanish. The site can be searched
by crop or pest.
- Eldis
is an Internet gateway to information on development and the environment.
The site can be searched for documents, organization homepages, e-mail
discussion lists, research project information, and map and newspaper
collections.
- FAOSTAT
is FAO's online statistical database on land use, fertilizers, pesticides,
and more.
