Crop/Plant images- The searchable Illustrated Legume Genetic Resources Database, a Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Genebank Project contains photos and descriptions useful legumes, including many green manure/cover crops species.
- CIDICCO's photo gallery contains various cover crop photos
- CGIAR's photo gallery is arranged by subject matter (selected legumes, agroforestry, forestry, livestock, and a variety of food crops).
- Smokin' Doc Thurston is a slide database of over 2,500 photos from around the world that relate to plant pathology, tropical plant pathology, agricultural development in the tropics, sustainable development, and traditional practices of farmers in developing countries.
- FAO's (AGL) Photo library on Land Management Systems and Conservation Agriculture has categorized images from no-till, cover crops and land degration to compaction and animal integration.
- FAO's Grasses and Legumes Picture Gallery contains photos and links to descriptions of the pictured plants.
- USDA NRCS Plants Gallery provides selected images of U.S. plants
- Porcher's Photographs on the WWW section of the Plant Names Database has links to numerous plant photo galleries.
- The Weed Gallery database available from Rutgers Cooperative Extension (USA) includes photos of weeds, their common and scientific names, and brief descriptions. The database can be browsed by name or by photo.
- The Mycorrhiza Information Exchange has an arbuscular mycorrhizae image library that can be accessed by clicking on "image gallery" on the home page.
- The VAST (VAScular Tropicos) Image Index is a searchable image database for plants of the tropics built by the Missouri Botanical Gardens. (See also the VAST nomenclatural database)
- The

Agroforestry Centre's Image Collection is a searchable
database of agroforestry-related photos free for non-commercial use.
- The Photo Gallery from USDA-NRCS (USA) includes photos of soil survey, manure management, cover crops, etc.
- This Landscape Classification site from the Canadian Soil Information System contains a gallery of photos of Canadian landscapes and soil profiles.
- The Guy D. Smith
Memorial Slide Collection subtitled "Vertisols:
Their Properties, Classification, Distribution and Management"
contains 200 slides which can be viewed sequentially or browsed via
the table of contents.
